The House System

We at The Guru hope to instill in our young learners, a sense of awareness about self & recognition of the importance of our gurus. A guru, through his knowledge & intellect makes a difference in our lives, removes ignorance & makes our lives enlightened & blessed.

This school is a humble attempt to serve society by imparting value based education in various disciplines of academics to all the students who enter the portals of this temple of learning. We move forward to fulfill the vision of our ancestors & share their dream in aiming for an all-round development of personality of our learners & instilling a sense of service to the nation.

Furthering this philosophy, the school has introduced a system of four houses based on our ancient gurus, viz. CHANAKYA HOUSE (Red), DRONACHARYA HOUSE (Blue), VASHISHTHA HOUSE (Green) & VISHVAMITRA HOUSE (Yellow).

The students are allocated to one house at the time of enrolment to give them an identity and sense of pride in a supportive, secure environment. The Houses provide for positive competition and a closer rapport between students and teachers. The Houses will compete throughout the year in a number of sporting, academic and cultural activities for points. Each session, the winning house would receive the House shield and other prizes.
